3. Services Provided

CBR Renewable Energy Solutions offers the following services:

  • Commercial and residential solar installations

  • Battery storage solutions

  • Heat pump hot water systems

  • EV charging solutions

4. No Online Sales

Please note that we do not conduct sales through our website. All transactions and agreements are conducted offline, or through our cloud-based OpenSolar design and quoting software, after consultations and assessments.

5. Customer Data and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. We collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We store customer data in our CRM system to provide better service and support. The data stored includes:

  • Contact information (name, address, phone number, email)

  • Service history and interactions

  • Technical details relevant to the services provided

We do not share, trade or otherwise release your data except where necessary to deliver the goods and services you've purchased, or as otherwise required by law. This may include sharing relevant details with:

  • the inverter and/or battery manufacturer, so your system monitoring platform can display your system's performance to you (please refer to the manufacturer's own privacy policy for how they handle this data, as CBR has no control over it);

  • your electricity retailer or distributor, to arrange grid connection and any applicable feed-in tariff;

  • financiers, where your purchase involves finance; and

  • government rebate administrators, to process any applicable rebates or Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs).

We will also release relevant personal data to authorities when required to do so by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CBR Renewable Energy Solutions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use any content without our express written permission.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Australia.
